About Kala Diarra!

Wrapped in a communal dynamic, family is everything. Like the collective album titled ‘JustC@use’ the talents of “Kala Diarra!” are the manifestation of healing and oneness as a Hip Hop family band. Spearheaded by single father Diarra Davis whose early childhood in DC would be where Diarra, (affectionately called Kala, Meaning Art or Gift) realized his affinity for music. 

Moving to his now permanent residence in Georgia afforded Kala to bridge connections like the hip-hop group Goodie Mob.  These relationships would further inspire the formation of the music entertainment company #NODELUSIONS4U in 2021. 

Kala Diarra!, under Diarra’s creative and paternal direction, talents extend through four of his children: Deshi Davis, the ‘Virtuous Child and Movement Minister’, Dekhari Stewart aka DeKay, ‘Lyrical Artist’, Khalfani Sunni-Ali Davis - ‘Content Creator’ and Zalika Davis, the ‘Visual Design Artist’.

Combining vocals with vibrant visualizations weaving hip hop and spoken word over synchronized synthetics and strings, comforted with strong baselines and introspective lyrics Kala Diarra! has mastered a unique sound.

JustC@use is music in movement from tracks like ‘The Hillz’ and ‘Tendencies’ that will have you rhyming along as you wrote it, to anthem vibes ‘Were’, and ‘Search Dat’ that will get you up, there’s something for all. With the first album releasing March 2024 Kala Diarra! is ready to impact social and global injustices and inequalities through music and vibration.
